They say living on the farm is ‘the simple life’. But if you’ve ever worked on a farm, you know there’s nothing simple about it. Whether you’re in the barn feeding the animals or out in the fields processing the hay to feed the animals – there’s a a job at every turn. There’s no 9 to 5. You work when the sun shines – and perhaps even after the sun sets. So for a job that’s so demanding, there’s little time to take in the beauty of what these farmers do. And it’s such an important job that they do because they feed all of us – not just their animals. This gallery is dedicated to the hard work that’s done by farmers day in and day out.
