Shipwrecks are cool, well, not in the sense that a ship was lost – cost a company thousands if not millions of dollars and possible lives were lost – but in the sense they freeze time. Where else can you take a look at something as though it were mummified for the rest of eternity? You’d have to find a mummy. The following 20 eerie aerial images of shipwrecks were captured all over the world with drones. You’re getting a perspective never seen before from some of these shipwrecks. We even added a few planes for good measure. Stunning and eerie images that truly freeze time.
We hope you enjoy these images of history. There’s something captivating about staring at large pieces of twisted metal that once ruled the open seas. If you have any outstanding images of shipwrecks you’ve taken with your drone, we’d love to see them and include them in future galleries.
